Victoria is inspired to share her creative business skills
Victoria Everingham, 23, studied for the BSc Media and Creative Business at The Manchester College. Her work with the tutors at the college has inspired her to enrol for postgraduate study and consider teaching in the future.
Before coming to the college, Victoria did a HND Media Production at the University of Salford and OCR National Diploma in Media at Pendleton College. She graduated from her BSc with a 2:1 and is now studying for a MSc Creative Industries Management at the University of Bolton.
‘I chose to take the business top up to my HND to get the business skills that are necessary in the creative sector. I thoroughly enjoyed working with the tutors at The Manchester College, which lead me to consider teaching and taking my studies further with a masters.
The college is a great place - take every opportunity!
‘After completing my MSc I will be doing a PGCE so that I can teach FE and HE in education centres similar to The Manchester College.’
Victoria’s advice to future students is: ‘Enjoy yourself. The college is a great place and the time goes too fast, so take every opportunity!’
