Mariam's working her way up in computer network management
Mariam Mohsin, 23, studied on the Foundation Degree in Computer Network Management at The Manchester College. She graduated with distinction and now works as first line technical support in a software company. Mariam says The Manchester College has helped her improve her practical skills and deal with real-life situations.
‘I would like to progress in my career by moving up to the higher levels of support, gain further technical knowledge and learn about new and future technologies.
‘After the course I worked full time as an IT administrator for six months. The role allowed me to improve my networking and troubleshooting skills. I learned to adapt to an intense environment where the network had to be stable at all times so end users’ productivity was not affected.
