Football

The Nicholls Community Football Centre was developed in 2005 as a state of the art football facility that would serve the needs of the Manchester College as well as providing support for community clubs and youth groups from the local area. Funded by the Football Foundation, it is a facility that can cater for all football formats including

  • matches
  • coaching
  • coach education courses

The centrepiece of the site is a purpose built Third Generation Football Pitch which can accommodate 11-a-side matches as well as three 7-a-side pitches. The Nicholls Football Centre also has excellent grass pitch provision which can stage 11-a-side matches and coaching sessions.

The Football Centre is open Monday to Sunday and is available for hire.
