How can we help you?

Before you start your course, you’ll be able to meet with a specialist support worker. They’ll talk to you about the support that might be useful to you.

We can:

  • give you a tour of the college
  • show you how to use technology that helps you learn
  • give you advice one-to-one or in a group session
  • give you advice about public transport
  • give you advice about specialist groups in the community
  • give you advice on work and university
  • help you build your confidence
  • help you to be independent
  • help you to manage your own care
  • let you know about interesting college activities
  • support and advise you on anything else you need help with

How can you get advice and support?

  • tell us about your disability or medical condition on your application or enrolment form
  • if you’re on a course, ask your tutor or student services team to refer you to the disability service
