The Manchester College's Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy department has an excellent choice of courses ranging from Media Make Up through to Hairdressing and Hot Stone Therapy. We have a variety of qualifications from NVQs to one day master classes. There is something for everyone, whether you are looking for a career change or are an advanced stylist/therapist who would like to refresh their skills or learn a new skill.

Our facilities

We have hair and beauty training salons at many of our campuses across the city of Manchester. Moston Campus in North Manchester has its very own spa which features a jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, dry floatation bed, turkish haman and rainforest shower. Our courses can be delivered within our state of the art premises or within your workplace.

We have highly qualified tutors who are all industry professionals and bring excellent expertise to these specialist courses.

Our courses range from short 3 hour workshops to more in-depth 12 hour courses and cover the latest industry and salon techniques.

• African Type Hairdressing - 21st until 23rd February
• Dressing and Styling Hair - 25th and 26th October (2 day course)
• Asian Bridal Make-up - date to be confirmed
• Fashion and Bridal Make-up - 25th October
• Spray Tanning- 27th October
• Microdermabrasion- 27th October
