Launch of The Manchester College’s Facilities Management Training.

Facilities Management relies on people with superb management and communications skills, combined with specialist knowledge. They may have a range of job titles but they form a crucial function within any premises. They support all operations, from building maintenance through to catering, cleaning, reception and security.

At The Manchester College we offer training in all of the various disciplines related to the maintenance, care and efficient day to day running of your premises.

Courses available include:

Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Facilities Management

  • Provide and monitor facilities for clients
  • Contribute to the management of incidents and emergencies
  • Contribute to disaster recovery and contingency planning

BIFM Level 4 Certificate in Facilities Management

This will be studied via a blended learning method and will include the following topics

  • Overview of Facilities Management
  • Managing Health and Safety
  • Substantiality and Environmental Issues
  • Risk Management
  • Customer Service
  • Project Management

Progression onto the BIFM Level 5 qualification will be available later on this year.
