The NEW Access to Higher Education, Distance Learning programme in Nursing and Allied Health Professions

The Department of Access and Continuing Education is a long established provider of Access programmes for people wishing to progress into Higher Education. We are very pleased to introduce a new Distance Learning Access to Higher Education Diploma for individuals wishing to pursue careers in:

  • Nursing
  • Midwifery
  • Psychology
  • Occupational therapy
  • Operating Department Practitioner

and other health-related professions.

We are aware that many potential learners find it difficult to attend college full-time for a variety of reasons, such as work or family commitments. For that reason we have designed this flexible, on-line programme of study.
