Gifted and Talented pupils go head to head in Openshaw
The Manchester College has hosted its annual Gifted and Talented inter-schools competition at Openshaw Campus.
This year, competing teams came from
Prestwich Arts College
Chorlton High School
Crescent Community High School for Girls
Trinity C of E High School
Stretford High School
Manchester Creative & Media Academy (MCMA) Boys
MCMA Girls and
Audenshaw School.
The pupils toured the fantastic facilities at the campus before going head to head in a brain-teasing quiz.
Huge congratulations to Audenshaw School
The competition was once again a great success. Huge congratulations go to Audenshaw School who beat off some stiff competition to win first prize. The team won a £500 cheque for their school, which will be presented next month. Each team member also won iTunes vouchers.
The final placings were:
1st - Audenshaw
2nd - Trinity C of E High School
3rd - MCMA Boys
