Barclays Bank employees succeed with The Manchester College

A successful partnership between The Manchester College and Barclays Bank has resulted in 46 more employees gaining qualifications in IT and Business Administration. Barclays emphasised its commitment to its employees’ continuing professional development at a presentation to learners.

Helen Schofield, Barclays Bank Senior Operations Manager, congratulated employees on achieving qualifications with The Manchester College. The Manchester College have awarded the following qualifications to Barclays Bank employees this year:

NVQ for IT Users (ITQ1) 6 employees
Cert for IT Users (ITQ2) 23 employees
NVQ2 Business Administration 17 employees

Helen said management looked favourably on employees hoping to progress within the organisation who show a commitment to CPD. Victor Sessions, ICT for Users Divisional Lead Manager at The Manchester College, thanked Helen for her support. He outlined the options now available to the employees, including progression to apprenticeships.
