The Manchester College has run a successful English as a Foreign Language (EFL) Summer School for many years. This year the Summer School is taking place
In addition to improving their English, students learn a lot from social interaction with students from many other countries. The Summer School is popular for its quality of teaching, varied activities and visits to world famous places around the Manchester region. You will make a lot of friends and experience British culture.
Students are tested on arrival and placed in appropriate groups with their own course tutor. The course is aimed at adult learners aged 16 and over, and includes social and cultural activities and visits to places of interest.
The course is validated by the British Council. The Manchester College is a member of English UK (formerly BASELT) and has many years' experience in the delivery of all types of English language courses.
You will study for 20 hours per week from Monday to Friday.
Students will be awarded a college certificate at the end of the course.
The course costs £185 per week. This includes resources, educational visits and Saturday excursions.
Accommodation is not included in the fee. The college has an accommodation officer to help you find suitable accommodation. To discuss your requirements, please contact our International Office (details below).
