The Manchester College has partnered with leading global marketing, technology and commerce agency Amaze, to build a skilled workforce to support the UK’s growing digital sector.

The demand for skilled developers and digital professionals in the sector is at an all-time high. In response to the digital skills gap, The Manchester College is launching a new course that will give students the relevant skills that are needed by today’s digital employers. The Computer Science and Developing Digital Solutions course - Certified by Amaze, has been specifically designed to give the digital sector what it needs.

“Our tutors have worked closely with Amaze to create a unique course that is directly relevant to the digital sector. It will give the students the technical knowledge and skills they need, alongside the necessary employability skills required to succeed in their chosen career.”

Students on the new course will have the opportunity to work on live briefs, working closely with Amaze to give them a direct understanding and experience of working in the digital sector. Gaining the right skills and technical knowledge is vital, however the additional employability skills the students will get from this new course cannot be underestimated. Students will also have an opportunity to apply for the Amaze Academy on completion of the course.
