Wythenshawe Campus

Wythenshawe Campus was opened in 2010 and offers a wide range of courses for school leavers and adults, including construction and motor vehicle. The campus is built to be environmentally friendly and has innovative technology to save energy and re-use resources. These include solar panels, wind catchers for natural ventilation and rainwater harvesting tanks.

  • gourmet training restaurant (3rd Floor Restaurant), open to the public

Local area

Wythenshawe is a suburb of south Manchester. Wythenshawe Campus is built in the centre of the community, 15 minutes’ walk from the civic centre. The campus has it own gardens and places to sit outside, while Wythenshawe itself has several large parks and woodlands. The civic centre has a supermarket, shops, post office and fast food chains and there are some smaller shops opposite the campus. The campus is just over two miles from Wythenshawe Park; a beautiful green space with community farm and historic buildings.
