The Northenden Campus is a large site providing an extensive range of vocational and academic courses.

The Manchester College has invested more than £2 million in campus, enhancing facilities for students, staff and members of the public. The campus features

  • new sports facilities, including a fitness suite, football pitch and multi-use games area
  • a large, well stocked learning resource centre (LRC) as well as a new SkillZone with extensive IT facilities
  • art and design workshops
  • a new refectory and coffee bar
  • a new purpose built kitchen for catering courses
  • workshops for woodworking, ceramics and jewellery making
  • studios for photography courses
  • salon facilities that are open to the public

Wildlife haven

The redevelopment of the campus included landscaping for new outdoor sports facilities. This work presented the opportunity to also create havens for wildlife within the grounds. The site features

  • wildlife corridors connecting the campus with Wythenshawe Park
  • wildflower meadows and areas left unlandscaped to provide habitats for wildlife
  • birdboxes throughout the grounds

Thursday and Friday: 6.00am-6.00pm
Reception open: 8.30am-4.30pm
