How to get there

By bus

Numbers 8 or 9 to Appleton Thorn from Warrington.

By train

Travel to Warrington Bank Quay or Warrington Central.

By car

Exit the M6 at Junction 20; head towards Warrington, turn left at the first roundabout; travel along round for approxmately 1 mile until you come to roundabout; turn left and pass an industrial estate on left; continue for approximately 300 yards and turn right; keep on this road for approximately ½ mile; you'll come to a cross roads (Appleton Thorn Pub on right), and turn left. The prison is approximately 200 yards on left.
