Apprenticeships can be a cost-effective way to add skilled, productive employees to your workforce. Apprentices can bring up-to-date skills and knowledge of new technologies to your organisation.
Participating in an apprenticeship programme will give you skilled, loyal employees who are trained to industry standards and understand the unique values of your organisation. Ultimately, apprenticeships can have a positive impact on customer satisfaction and your business reputation.
Do you have a gap in your workforce that could be filled by an apprentice or do you have existing staff who could qualify for an apprenticeship?
Apprentices usually spend four days a week in the workplace and one day a week training at college. They gain the practical skills employers require and the academic and theoretical knowledge to achieve a recognised qualification. Apprentices are paid by their employer while they’re training and learning but employers are entitled to funding from the Learning and Skills Council to help with costs.

Offering a student a work placement is an ideal way to benefit from their knowledge of new technologies or business techniques. We have thousands of students of all ages looking for work placements as part of their training for employment. A work placement could also allow you to appraise potential future employees.
Work placements are a great opportunity for students, as valuable practical experience. We work closely with you to make sure the placement is mutually beneficial and provide help with organising the placement and seeing that it runs smoothly.
