Students benefit from real world work experience in our four excellent training restaurants. Our training restaurants give students the opportunity to work in professional standard facilities, preparing and serving food to paying customers.

The high standard of our training restaurants is recognised by hospitality industry accolades. In 2009 The Restaurant at Ashley Lane won the regional final in Restaurant Magazine’s College Restaurant of the Year competition. In 2008, Bistro East won the national final. The competition aims to assess and reward the valuable, practical skills that hospitality and catering students learn in the realistic working environment that college restaurants provide.
