What's the Digital Graphic Design course about?
This course has been devised as a response to recent changes in the creative digital production field and the workflow involved in the creation of printed media. Graphic design is evolving continuously and designers need to be experienced, multi-disciplined and highly skilled in order to adapt to this changing climate.
While this course involves elements of traditional art and design, students also develop software knowledge and application skills using the latest technology. Focus is placed on the development of significant skills coupled with highly creative conceptual design solutions.

Assessment is continuous and a variety of methods are used to monitor progression.
What will I be able to do after I've completed this course?
This course will help students succeed in a variety of related industries, including advertising, graphic design, marketing, publishing or illustration. Upon completion of this course, students will also be able to progress to the second or third year of a linked degree at the University of Bolton.
What qualifications or experience do I need to do this course?
Applicants should possess an A Level, a BTEC Level 3 Diploma/Extended Diploma or an equivalent level 3 qualification with design content. Qualifications should be accompanied by a portfolio of creative work. Minimum UCAS tariff points required: 120.
Mature applicants (aged 21 or over) who are able to demonstrate relevant skills or knowledge gained in employment or vocational activity may also apply.
