Our fees

Competitive fees

The Manchester College provides high quality courses at competitive prices, giving you real value for money.

Fees vary according to the type of course. Where possible, fees are stated on our course leaflets which can be found using the course finder.

There are several sources of financial support that may be able to help you with the cost of your course and help you to achieve your potential while studying with The Manchester College.

Financial support could help you with tuition fees and also may help to cover the additional costs of study, such as travel costs.

Pay in instalments

Are your total course costs £301 or more (including tuition fees and any exam and material costs)? You may be able to pay in instalments. Instalments help you spread the cost of study.

We can let you know what instalment options are available to you when you come to enrol. If you do choose to pay in instalments we’ll ask you to pay a deposit of 33% of your total course costs at enrolment (or 20% of total tuition fees if you’re taking a two year course). We’ll also ask you to complete a form to pay your instalments by direct debit. Once you’ve paid your deposit and completed a direct debit form we’ll issue your student learning agreement.

UCAS application fee

UCAS charges an application fee of £21 (or £11 if you are applying for only one course at one institution). Payment should be made with a credit or debit card.

Course fees

Our course fees vary according to the type of course. Where possible, fees are stated on our course leaflets which can be found using the course finder.

Paying for your course on enrolment

Most students pay for their course fees through a tuition fee loan from Student Finance England. If you have it, you will need to bring the confirmation letter from SFE when you come to enrol.

If you haven't received your loan confirmation letter from Student Finance England, you will need to bring payment for your course. You will need to make a deposit payment of 33% of your total cost at enrolment. The outstanding amount can then be spread by direct debit across 5 instalments. If you are waiting for your student loan any payments made will be reimbursed to you once you receive confirmation.

Help with financing your studies

A number of bursaries and scholarships are available to all students studying on honours degree programmes.

There are several other sources of financial support that may be able to help you with the cost of your course and help you to achieve your potential while studying with The Manchester College.
