What's the Implementing Microsoft ISA 2004 course about?
This course provides students with the knowledge and skills to deploy and manage Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2004 as part of a larger security infrastructure. The course introduces security concepts unique to ISA Server 2004 and provides best practices for their implementation. This course includes information on both the Standard Edition and Enterprise Edition of ISA Server 2004.

- Configuring virtual private network access for remote clients and networks
- Implementing caching to improve browsing performance
- Monitoring ISA Server 2004
- Implementing ISA Server 2004 Enterprise edition
- Implementing ISA Server 2004 Enterprise edition: back-to-back firewall scenario
- Implementing ISA Server 2004 Enterprise edition: site-to-site scenario
Assessment is via a Professional Certification exam provided by Microsoft at our Pearson VUE Testing Centre.
What will I be able to do after I've completed this course?
As a Microsoft Academy, we deliver the entire range of Microsoft courses from MCDST certification to MCSA and MCSE. On completion of this course, you will be suitably prepared to take the Microsoft MCP exam 70-350: Implementing Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2004.
This qualification will allow you to obtain Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) status and eventually lead to Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator status (subject to passing additional MCP Modules).

What qualifications or experience do I need to do this course?
It is expected that applicants will have:
- Completed course 2274: Managing a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment
- Experience of implementing network resources such as Web, FTP, and Microsoft Exchange servers
Which qualification will I be awarded if I successfully complete the Implementing Microsoft ISA 2004 course?
Successful students will be awarded a Microsoft Academy Certificate upon course completion. The student will also be at a knowledge level to take the Professional Certification exam provided by Microsoft at our Pearson VUE Testing Centre.
