What's the Art and Design (Digital Graphic Design) course about?

This course is designed for students wanting to take their first steps into design based work. Learners will gain a nationally recognised vocational qualification which will have developed the their knowledge, understanding and skills in the area of digital graphic design.
Students will complete a number of projects, including a final major project which will be largely self-directed.

What will I be able to do after I've completed this course?

On successful completion of this course you will have the opportunity to progress on to a level 3 course in graphic design or an HNC/D Interactive Media. The course can also lead to careers in a range of professional activities, from graphic design to marketing, including advertising and work in the digital and creative industries.

What qualifications or experience do I need to do this course?

Students will need to be very familiar with using computers and have a desire to work creatively.

Which qualification will I be awarded if I successfully complete the Art and Design (Digital Graphic Design) course?

Students will be awarded a BTEC First Diploma in Art and Design (Digital Graphic Design) at Level 2 by Edexcel.
