The School is one of Manchester’s leading high schools. It is a Roman Catholic High School where pupils are encouraged to live their faith and to lead purposeful lives.
Main duties include:-
25. To work collaboratively with all staff, pupils and parents in order to support student well-being and to promote the five outcomes of Every Child Matters
26. To provide support in a specific curriculum or resource area, including preparation and maintenance of resources and to provide general support to staff and pupils
27. To make a key contribution to the development and support of the department and the school through the provision of the departmental service
28. To utilise the specialist skills and training provided by the college in support of the Apprenticeship role
29. To create and maintain purposeful, orderly and productive working environment within the specific curriculum or resource area
30. To be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health and safety, security and confidentiality, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person as soon as they arise
31. To attend and participate in regular meetings
32. To work as part of a team to support colleagues and contribute towards the overall ethos, work and aims of the school
