Main duties include:-
9. To work collaboratively with all staff, pupils and parents in order to support student well-being and to promote the five outcomes of Every Child Matters
10. To provide support in a specific curriculum or resource area, including preparation and maintenance of resources and to provide general support to staff and pupils
11. To make a key contribution to the development and support of the department and the school through the provision of the departmental service
12. To utilise the specialist skills and training provided by the college in support of the Apprenticeship role
13. To create and maintain purposeful, orderly and productive working environment within the specific curriculum or resource area
14. To be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health and safety, security and confidentiality, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person as soon as they arise
15. To attend and participate in regular meetings
16. To work as part of a team to support colleagues and contribute towards the overall ethos, work and aims of the school
