Working Hours:
35 hoursper week
To work with and support the childcare practitioners, administration staff and teachers, in delivering the ETFS, Key stage 1 and Key stage 2 curriculums. To ensure policies and procedures are followed. Work in partnership with parents and carers. Attend relevant training, network and team meetings. Take responsibility to carry out health and safety checks throughout the working day, remove anything that may be a danger to yourself or anyone else and/or report any risks to senior staff. Maintain accurate records on children’ progress and achievements and share with senior staff and parents. Carry out hygiene duties as required.

Skills required:
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, parents/carers and representatives of external organisations.
• Managing time and ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
• Languages are an advantage but not essential:- Arabic, Urdu, Somalia, Guajarati, Bengali
• Grammar, spelling, letter/ reports/minutes writing
Qualifications required:
Not necessary if willing to learn
Personal qualities:
Warm, approachable, ability to communicate effectively with positive attitude to work, developing knowledge and skills. Does not ‘crumble’ under pressure and has a positive attitude to problem solving.
