Student voice - Adults

As a student, you'll have a say in how The Manchester College is run.

We’ll make sure that:

  • you know where to get information
  • you have the chance to give us your views
  • we listen to you
  • you find out what has been done as a result of your feedback

You can get your voice heard through:

What is student council?

Student council is a group of elected students. The council is a formal way for you to have your say in how we run the college. Any student can stand for election to the student council.

Find out more about student council.

What are student reps?

Student reps are elected to represent you. Some courses have one rep per year and some have one rep per group.

Student reps meet with college staff to voice your comments and suggestions.

What are student surveys?

We will ask you to complete two surveys a year. We consider the results of these surveys when we review and update our courses.

What are focus groups?

We may ask you if you would like to take part in a focus group. This is a group chat about one or more things that affect student life at the college.
