Having somewhere to live that’s comfortable, secure and within easy travelling distance of your campus can make all the difference when you’re studying. You can contact the guidance and welfare service if you need advice about finding somewhere to live.
If you’re homeless or about to be made homeless, please contact the guidance and welfare service at your nearest campus or email gaws@themanchestercollege.ac.uk.
Manchester has a good public transport system, so it’s easy to travel from one area to another. There’s a good supply of rented accommodation in the city, including purpose-built student accommodation.
The Manchester College works with Manchester Student Homes. Manchester Student Homes is run by the universities in Manchester and their service is free to students. They run an accreditation scheme for landlords who advertise on their website, making sure all the accommodation you’ll find there meets current standards.
