This is a one day workshop that is ideal for both beginners and those who wish to improve on their existing skills. Using phormiums, aspidistra, grasses, etc you will be shown how to fold, weave, and plait to add interest to your design. On the day you will construct a design in a container, incorporating manipulated leaves plus flowers.
Please note, you will need to enrol and pay for this course one week prior to the start date to allow for the purchase of flowers and other materials. Cost of sundries and materials are included in the price so you can take home all the floral arrangements you have made.
This course is not formally assessed, although feedback will be given.
If you would like learn more about floristry, you could progress on to the part-time NCFE Certificate in Creative Craft Floristry or the full-time NPTC Land Based Studies Level 1 Diploma in Floristry.
There are no formal entry requirements for this course.
