This course concentrates on the sales presentation, examines a customer's objections and discusses methods to overcome them, in addition to examining the sales close and follow-up procedures.
The course covers the following:
- Elements of the sales presentation
- Employing the 'Trial Close' technique
- Recognising and overcoming customer objection
- Recognising and reading buying signals
- Understanding the essentials to a successful close
- Comprehending the importance of after sales service
The course is delivered through discussion, group work and roleplay. The course activities are designed to impart skills and knowledge by having participants work through real-life examples and scenarios.
There is an opportunity to progress through the Sales NVQ qualification.
This course is designed for employees that are currently working in a sales/marketing role and are dealing with customers on the telephone.
This course does not lead to a formal qualification.
