What's the Risk Management course about?

This course is designed for employees with a management/supervisory responsibility who wish to undertake such training for their own vocational progression and also to allow the employer to meet the requirement of health and safety regulations.

Please note, this course can be delivered on client premises and group rates are available on request.

On completion delegates will be able to:
- Know and understand the requirements of relevant health and safety legislation
- Understand the range of benefits associated with good safety and risk management
- Understand the importance of pertinent regulations with regard to their own duties
- Recognise the need for competence in relation to the implementation of these regulations
- Understand the need for effective, formal risk assessment procedures
- Instruct nominated staff in the above procedures
- Appreciate the importance of recording aforesaid assessments

Assessment is through a short test paper and the completion of a risk assessment.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course.
