This course is designed for those people that want to learn how to use Microsoft Project to support their project management.
You will study the following:
- Introduction to Microsoft Project
- Create a project file
- Create tasks and enter durations
- Create relationships between tasks
- Set up the resource pool
- Assign resources to tasks
- Overview of project monitoring
A hands-on approach is taken during this course. The exercises are designed to impart relevant skills and knowledge by having participants work through real-life examples and scenarios.
All delegates will have 35 days post course support. This support is available via email, telephone and through the College Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
When you have completed this course there are a number of opportunities for further study including progression to Intermediate and Advanced Features of Microsoft Project and/or attendance at one of our other Microsoft Office courses.
This course is designed for those people with no previous knowledge of Microsoft Project. Prior knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications would be an advantage.
This course does not lead to any formal qualification.
As the definition of full time and part time can vary from course to course, please check with the tutor as to the exact number of hours study each week this course will entail.
