This course is designed to provide the skills required to navigate and manipulate an Access database.
The course covers the following:
- Introduction to database theory
- Start and exit Microsoft Access
- Creating and modifying tables
- Add, edit and delete table data
- Sort and filter table data
- Create and use queries to display data
- Basic form and report creation
A hands-on approach is taken during this course. The exercises are designed to impart relevant skills and knowledge by having participants work through real-life examples and scenarios.
All delegates will have 35 days post course support. This support is available via email, telephone and through the College Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
When you have completed this course there are a number of opportunities for further study including progression to Intermediate and then Advanced Features of Microsoft Access and attendance at one of our other Microsoft Office courses.
No formal entry requirements. However prior knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications would be an advantage.
This course does not lead to any formal qualification.
As the definition of full time and part time can vary from course to course, please check with the tutor as to the exact number of hours study each week this course will entail.
