What's the Microdermabrasion course about?

This qualification is ideal for experienced beauty therapists who wish to further expand their skills in beauty therapy by learning the techniques of microdermabrasion.

The course covers the following:
- Health and safety working practices
- Preparing the skin for microdermabrasion
- Applying microdermabrasion techniques
- Aftercare advice

Students will undergo assessment of practical skills and written work.

What will I be able to do after I've completed this course?

We currently offer the VRQ Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy/Spa Therapy. It could also lead to new career opportunities in the beauty/spa therapy industry or the cosmetics retail industry.

What qualifications or experience do I need to do this course?

This course is aimed at practising beauty therapists.

Which qualification will I be awarded if I successfully complete the Microdermabrasion course?

This course does not lead to a formal qualification but the work produced but the experience gained can be used to support applications for accredited courses.
