What's the Managing Projects course about?

Good project management does not happen by chance or trial and error. Neither can it be achieved by adopting simplistic one size fits all procedures. People who succeed in this field where others fail do so because they have learned the necessary skills and knowledge and how to apply them to a range of different projects. The course will provide an introduction to the planning and implementation of projects to achieve the desired outcomes.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Define the required outcomes
- Identify and plan the activities and resources necessary to achieve those outcomes
- Design appropriate documentation
- Communicate with and lead the project team
- Monitor and review progress, taking corrective action where necessary
- Develop the skills to complete projects on time and within budgets

Our courses incorporate the best of experiential teaching and learning methods, including participatory exercises, games and activities to keep you energised, engaged and informed throughout the day.
