This qualification is designed to introduce individuals to the skills of handling conflict. Employees will gain the knowledge to recognise potential conflict situations and how to deal with them effectively.
All learners who take part in this qualification will be able to make a positive contribution to their organisation through knowledge that can be directly applied specifically in business environments, improved understanding of business operations, improved communication skills and improved team working.
Areas covered by the course include:
- Understanding the theories of conflict
- How to prevent conflict
- Effective communication skills for conflict situations
- Resolution of conflict
On successful completion of this course there are a number of opportunities for further study, including progressing through the Customer Service NVQ levels.
This course is designed for participants with little or no knowledge of conflict handling in the work environment.
This is a short course and does not lead to a formal qualification.
