This course aims to increase your productivity by providing the skills and knowledge to use Sage Line 50 to intermediate standard. It is entirely 'hands on', so those attending will get practice working with real life examples and scenarios.
All our delegates have access to 35 days post course support via email and telephone and have access to resources on the College Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
The course covers the following topics:
- Enter initial capital, cash, cheque and other bank transactions
- Process wages journals and payments
- Create bank accounts
- Produce computer generated invoices
- Correct errors by means of journal adjustments or accounts maintenance
- Process returned cheques
- Process payments involving discounts
This course should improve your job prospects. On completion of this course you may want to undertake further training, for example attend our Microsoft Excel courses and/or any of our other Microsoft Office courses.
No formal qualifications are required. However, we recommend delegates meet the following criteria:
- Have recently completed an introductory course in computerised accounts
- Have recently or are currently employed in a job which incorporates the processing of invoices and/or payments using a computer
- Are familiar with the basic operation of a computer
- As a minimum, have numeracy skills at level 1
- Non-native speakers of English should have, as a minimum, English skills to intermediate level.
All delegates will receive a certificate of attendance.
As the definition of full time and part time can vary from course to course, please check with the tutor as to the exact number of hours study each week this course will entail.
