What's the Hot Stone Massage course about?

This course is designed for those who wish to learn the art of hot stone massage.

The course covers the following:
- The history of hot stone therapy
- Therapeutic properties of the hot stones
- Contraindications and precautions to treatment
- The benefits and effects of treatment
- Health and safety
- Preparing for and performing hot stone massage to the body

Applicants will be assessed by practical assessments and/or written test.

What will I be able to do after I've completed this course?

You may progress to the Advanced Hot Stone massage course.

What qualifications or experience do I need to do this course?

Applicants will need a level 3 massage qualification eg body massage, Indian head massage, or reflexology.

Which qualification will I be awarded if I successfully complete the Hot Stone Massage course?

Students will be awarded a Hot Stone Massage NCFE Certificate at level 2.
