What's the Driver CPC - Digital Tachograph Training course about?

The aim of this course is to improve the performance of LGV and PCV drivers in the operation and compliance within the regulations covering the use of digital tachographs.

The course covers the following:
- Using the digital tachograph
- Driver smart cards
- Company smart cards
- Tachograph operation
- Work and shift routines and importance of mode switching
- Manual entries
- UTC and local time
- Out of scope driving
- The new printouts, structure, pictograms and evaluation
- Enforcements and penalties
- How to deal with events such as incident reports, breakdowns and country changes
- Mixed driving (analogue and digital)

You will be taught in the classroom via demonstration and discussion.
