This course is designed for employees who have been nominated to carry out and record DSE assessments. They generally undertake such training for their own vocational progression and also to allow the employer to meet the requirement of health and safety regulations.
Please note, this course can be delivered on client premises and group rates are available on request.
Delegates will be able to:
- Know and understand the relevant health and safety legislation
- Understand the duties and responsibilities of a nominated assessor
- Understand what is meant by a DSE workstation
- Know when and how to carry out a comprehensive DSE assessment
- Understand the risks incurred by DSE users
- Understand the need for accurate record keeping with regard to DSE assessment
Assessment will by a short test paper and practical demonstration.
On completion delegates will be awarded an NCFE certificate.
There are no formal entry requirements for this course.
