What's the Contemporary Spring Floral Designs course about?

This is a one day workshop that is ideal for both beginners and those who wish to improve on their existing floristry skills. All floral arrangements will incorporate a spring theme using fresh flowers. If you wish to, you can bring along a digital camera to take photographs of yours and the tutor's final pieces.

During the session you will learn how to construct:
- A spring handtied, creating your own construction or frame
- A spring arrangement in foam
- A spring body adornment to wear e.g. corsage, wristlet

Please note, you will need to enrol and pay for this course one week prior to the start date to allow for the purchase of flowers and other materials. The cost of sundries and flowers are included in the price so you can take home any floral arrangements which you have made.

This course is not formally assessed, although feedback will be given.

What will I be able to do after I've completed this course?

If you would like learn more about floristry, you could progress on to the part-time NCFE Certificate in Creative Craft Floristry or the full-time NPTC Land Based Studies Level 1 Diploma in Floristry.

What qualifications or experience do I need to do this course?

This is a short course so no experience or qualifications are necessary.
