What's the Communication in the Workplace course about?

Effective communication - whether with team members, colleagues, senior management, customers, suppliers, etc - is a vital skill for all managers. A great many problems, failures, dissatisfactions are brought about by poor communications. Whether oral or written, verbal or non verbal, formal or informal, each communication must be based on some general principles as well as its own skills, all of which must be learned and continually developed.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Explain the communication process
- Describe the barriers to effective communication and how to overcome them
- List the pros and cons of different communication methods and choose the most appropriate
- Understand the need for feedback to ensure successful communication

Our courses incorporate the best of experiential teaching and learning methods, including participatory exercises, games and activities to keep you energised, engaged and informed throughout the day.
