Part of every manager's role is the mentoring and coaching and training of others within the work environment. This may involve team members, colleagues, trainees or even people from other organisations and may be carried out with individuals or groups.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Define learning and development needs
- Recognise and utilise learning styles
- Identify learning opportunities
- Plan effective training and coaching sessions
- Develop skills in presenting, questioning, listening and giving feedback
- Measure the effectiveness of the training/coaching
