The programme offers a good introduction to using Macromedia Flash. The purpose of the course is to learn the programme interface and to use it to create graphics/animations for the web.
You will cover the following areas:
- The Flash interface
- Drawing, colour strokes and fills
- Manipulation of paths
- Animation
- Motion and shape Tweens
- Creating library elements
- Creating rollover buttons
- Publishing to the web using Dreamweaver
You will be assessed through continuous assessment, a short exam and project work.
This qualification will enhance career prospects in the areas of graphic design and web design.
No qualifications are required but you should be computer literate. In addition, some experience of computer graphics and knowledge of how a web page is created would be beneficial.
This course does not lead to any formal qualifications.
