What's the Accounting course about?

The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) offers accounting qualifications that are both nationally and internationally recognised. The Diploma introduces more complicated accounting tasks, including the preparation of final accounts for sole traders and partnerships. You will also learn how to maintain cost accounting records and how to prepare reports and returns.

What will I be able to do after I've completed this course?

On successful completion of this course, there is the opportunity to study for the AAT Level 4 Diploma for Accounting Technicians. The AAT qualification is highly regarded by employers in both the private and public sectors. Career opportunities exist for accounting technicians in accounting, aspects of auditing and related areas of law and data processing.

What qualifications or experience do I need to do this course?

This Diploma is aimed at staff working in a finance role across all occupations and sectors of employment. Applicants will normally need to have completed a level 2 AAT qualification, ideally the AAT Level 2 Certificate for Accounting Technicians.

Which qualification will I be awarded if I successfully complete the Accounting course?

You will be awarded the AAT Level 3 Diploma for Accounting Technicians by the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT).
